Springtime Activities!

The TASK children have been ready for spring this month, and we've had a lot of fun activities planned to keep them busy! We started off by planting vegetable seeds and choosing different jobs to help the plants grow. Then on the rainy days we build towers, talk about baseball and hockey and create amazing rainbows with art supplies. We have been preparing for the weather by having different kinds of drills, lemonade stands, and helping the community by picking up trash around the school. I'm so proud of them for what they're learning. This is the best class ever and we're going to miss them over the summer!

Spring is here!

We are ready for spring full force in the TASK classroom! Some of our latest activities have included going on field trips to the pet store to see newborn baby bunnies, spring cleaning around the school, science experiments in front of the preschoolers, making healthy smoothies, reading to the younger classes, promoting music and movement through song and dance, and planting flowers! We are so glad to be a part of such a fantastic program!

Community Projects

In addition to meeting academic goals and learning school lessons, 

at our TASK program we teach a variety of important life skills:

How to care for our planet, animals, and each other,

How to make positive choices,

How to be responsible for our actions,

How to be a community helper,

How to be a kind and caring friend,

How to look out for friends in need,

How to be creative and think independently,

How to think ahead and keep safe,

and most importantly, how to be a strong & Confident Leader!

and I know you will all do great things in this world!

A FRESH START
